Serkan Kızıl
Managing Partner & Co-FounderPrior to forming Taxim Capital, Mr. Kızıl was the head of private equity division at Invest AD (Abu Dhabi Investment Company), the investment group owned by the Abu Dhabi Government, where he covered Turkey, Gulf region and North Africa. He established its Turkish private equity operations in 2008. He served as chairman, vice chairman and board director of various companies during his tenure. Before joining Invest AD, Mr. Kızıl worked for Goldman Sachs for 9 years at its investment banking division in New York and London, where his latest role was executive director. While at Goldman Sachs, he worked on a long list of mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, financings, IPOs, and equity and debt transactions. Prior to his experience with Goldman Sachs, Mr. Kızıl worked for Coopers & Lybrand in Istanbul. He also comes from a family business environment where he was heavily involved with management. Mr. Kızıl received his BS in Economics from Middle East Technical University in Ankara and his MBA from Hough Graduate School of Business at University of Florida.

Yalçın Nak
Managing Partner & Co-FounderPrior to forming Taxim Capital, Mr. Nak was the COO of the Acıbadem Healthcare Group where he worked for 6 years. Before Acıbadem, he served as the CEO and board member of Memorial Healthcare Group for 3 years, as country director of the strategy and management consulting division of PWC for 2 years, as project manager at the Istanbul Office of McKinsey & Company for 5 years and as planning and product manager at Procter&Gamble's German and Turkish Head Offices for a total of 7 years. Mr. Nak received his BS in Industrial Engineering from Bosphorus University in Istanbul and his MBA from J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management of the Northwestern University in Chicago. Mr. Nak is also a TEV (Turkish Education Foundation) and Fulbright Scholar. In the past, he served as a Board Member of TKYD (Corporate Governance Association of Turkey). He is currently a member of TOBB’s (Union of Chambers and Exchanges of Turkey) Girişim Sermayesi Meclisi (Venture Capital Council) and Endeavor’s Istanbul branch.

Selahattin Zoralioğlu
Managing Partner & Co-FounderPrior to forming Taxim Capital, Mr. Zoralioğlu was a partner at Pamplona Capital Management, a private equity fund based in London, where he worked for 9 years. During his tenure with Pamplona Capital Mr. Zoralioğlu successfully invested in Europe and also led the fund’s investment efforts in Turkey. Prior to his experience with Pamplona Capital, Mr. Zoralioğlu worked at the investment banking division of Merrill Lynch in London, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, and at McKinsey & Company, focusing on strategy development and operational improvement for companies in Turkey and the Gulf region. Mr. Zoralioğlu received his BS in Industrial Engineering from Bosphorus University in Istanbul and his MBA from Kellogg School of Management.

Berkin Mungan
PartnerPrior to joining Taxim Capital, Mr. Mungan was a director at UniCredit’s Principal Investments group in London for eight years, focusing on origination and execution of private equity investments in the CEE region and leading the team’s operations in Turkey. Before that he worked for four years as an investment banker at CA-IB Corporate Finance (later part of the UniCredit Group) and Garanti Securities in Istanbul, participating in many M&A, privatization and capital markets transactions. He started his career at Citibank as a money market dealer. Mr. Mungan received his BS in Management Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, MS in Finance and his MBA from University of Arizona; he is also a CFA charter holder.

Tan Erten
Chief Financial OfficerPrior to joining Taxim Capital, Mr. Erten was a partner at PAL Consulting, a local independent consulting firm, where he led several M&A and privatization advisory projects. Before joining PAL Consulting, Mr. Erten worked as Financial Director at Development Capital Management (DCM), manager of Ottoman Fund, a £200 million Turkey-focused real estate private equity fund listed in London. Prior to DCM, Mr. Erten worked at Applied Digital Technology, a technology start-up based in Florida. Mr. Erten received his BS in Electrical Engineering from Bosphorus University, and his MBA from Hough Graduate School of Business at University of Florida.

Muhterem Şenel
Vice PresidentPrior to joining Taxim Capital, Mr. Şenel was an associate in the M&A team at Unlu & Co. He advised clients in various industries such as retail, consumer goods, business services, non-bank financial services and infrastructure. Mr. Senel also spent time as a technology consultant covering MENA region at Ericsson. Mr. Şenel received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Bogazici University and his MBA from Ross School of Business at University of Michigan.

Prior to Pragma Corporate Finance, Mr. Korkut worked at A.T. Kearney, Kellogg’s and Acar Securities Mr. Korkut received a BS in Industrial Engineering from the Sabanci University and an MBA from Ross School of Business at University of Michigan.

Ömer Birgen
Vice PresidentPrior to joining Taxim Capital, Mr. Birgen served as a general manager at his family’s construction company. He was mainly responsible for finance, strategic planning, sales & marketing, and procurement. Prior to that, Mr. Birgen worked at Boston Consulting Group for five years in Chicago and New York offices. At BCG, he advised clients on strategy, pricing, corporate development, procurement, post-merger integration topics in CPG, industrial goods and healthcare firms. He also completed numerous due diligence projects for private equity clients. Mr. Birgen double majored in Civil Engineering and Economics at Northwestern University and received an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

David Fisher
Board MemberMr Fisher has over 30 years of experience in business, finance and law, including 20 years of successful private equity investing in CEE. Currently, he is also (i) board member at Innova Capital, a PE firm in Central Europe, (ii) chairman of the board of Da Vinci PE Fund 1 and chairman of the investment committee of Da Vinci PE Fund 2, both CIS PE funds and (iii) board member at Argo Group Ltd. Previously, Mr Fisher was the chairman of the Innova and EnerCap investment committees.
Henry Gregson
Board MemberMr Gregson has over 25 years of private equity experience in Europe. Throughout his career, Mr Gregson has made 24 investments, managed 27 investments and invested c. GBP 1 billion of equity. He is currently focusing on mid-market private equity transactions in the UK and Germany. Previously, Mr Gregson was one of the partners at Pamplona Capital, a director at Royal Bank Equity Finance and a partner at Phildrew Ventures.
